About Us
The Ontario Clydesdale Club was formed in 1946, to celebrate and assist with the promotion of the majestic Clydesdale horse across the province.
Today, the Club sponsors youth programs at nearly a dozen fall fairs, contributes financially to four Regional Clydesdale Shows: The Essa Draft Show August 3rd and 4th, Lindsay September 14 & 15th, Navan August 8th and Simcoe October 11 & 12th. The club also operates a very successful Ontario Born and Bred Yearling futurity program.
Events
Through memberships and several fundraising events held throughout the year, such as the MacGregors Meat and Seafood Fundraiser, a curling bonspiel, the annual banquet and dance, a drive and ride, the golf tournament and a social at the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair, the Ontario Clydesdale Club raises the funds needed to support its programs while bringing together Clydesdale enthusiasts.

Meet Rowan Timmons
My name is Rowan Timmons. I am 17 years old, and I am in grade 11 at Westdale Secondary school. I spend most of my time with sports, specifically volleyball, academics, horse showing and spending time with friends and family. I've been a part of the Clydesdale community since 2018 when I participated in my first show at Ancaster. Ever since then, I have been competing in shows as big as the World Show in Brandon, Manitoba in 2023. As Ambassador, I hope to continue my showing career and take my involvement in the community to the next level.
