About Us
The Ontario Clydesdale Club was formed in 1946, to celebrate and assist with the promotion of the majestic Clydesdale horse across the province.
Today, the Club sponsors youth programs at nearly a dozen fall fairs, contributes financially to four Regional Clydesdale Shows in Barrie, Lindsay, Rockton and Simcoe, and operates a very successful Ontario Born and Bred Yearling futurity program.
Events
Through memberships and several fundraising events held throughout the year, such as a curling bonspiel, annual banquet and dance, drive and ride, golf tournament and a social at the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair, the Ontario Clydesdale Club raises the funds needed to support its programs while bringing together Clydesdale enthusiasts. This years Golf Tournament is August 26th!
Membership
Annual membership includes a full-coloured, quarterly newsletter highlighting provincial Clydesdale activities, including sale and show results, and coverage of club events and news.
Club Members can also participate at the four Regional Shows.
