Now that the 2024 show season is over it’s time for my last

ambassadorship post. To me this ambassadorship wasn’t about the

gowns or handing out ribbons it was about teaching people about the

Clydesdale world and meeting new people. Talking with the public,

letting them pet the horses, answering their questions and giving them

the chance to understand why we all love showing these horses so

much, that is what this ambassadorship was to me. It was an honour

to get to travel to so many amazing shows this year like the North

American Clydesdale/Shire Fall Classic, the Classic Series Six Horse

Hitch Finals and the Triple Crown Show. A big thank you to everyone

who puts on these wonderful shows, the hard work and dedication

that you all put in over the entirety of the year is inspiring. Thank you to

everyone who has helped along the way, whether it be hosting me at

a show and giving me a place to sleep or coming up to say hi, this

experience wouldn’t be the same without all of you. Thank you to

everyone with the Wismer Clyde crew, this year has been so much fun

traveling and working with all of you! To my Mom and Dad that let me

go to all these shows, thank you for your unconditional love and

support over the past 2 years, I am incredibly lucky to get to call you

both my parents (Sherry Ward Schipper and Bert Schipper). Thank you

to all my friends for supporting me on and off the road, I couldn’t ask

for a better group of people in my corner than you guys. Lastly, thank

you to the Ontario Clydesdale Club for entrusting me to do this job

and represent this organization. Getting to work with everyone over the

past 2 years has been amazing!! I will miss this ambassadorship

greatly but am looking forward to the upcoming show season and

hope to see everyone soon!! Your 2024 Ontario Clydesdale Club
